Our story

They swiped right for each other on Bumble and had their first date over 7 years ago on 10.18.2017 in Atlanta. He invited her for beers and brats at Der Biergarten, she was an hour late because she couldn’t find her watch with googly eyes… but he waited. They talked about types of beer, Mario Kart, and life.

For the second date, he invited her for latin food and salsa dancing at Eclipse de Luna - he doesn’t know how to salsa, so she danced circles around him.

On their third date, they went to Atlantic Station to see the scary movie It. She loves scary movies. He then offered to drive her home, and as they reached his car, she was more afraid of the 1990 Acura Integra than the movie. He loved that car, and it was perfectly fine on the way home.

Fast-forward through her college graduation and moving to New York City, they ended up long distance as a global pandemic hit which gave them the opportunity to work remotely and spend more time together in both NYC and ATL. And in the summer of 2021, they went on an epic sailing adventure across the Ionian Sea exploring tiny, beautiful Greek islands. He proposed to her on 7.25.2021 atop a cliff overlooking the bay in Parga, Greece.

Given the global economic circumstances, they had an intimate ceremony getting legally married 3 years ago on 10.17.2021 in Atlanta at the Georgia Aquarium. Life changed fast as 3 weeks later he was in a new job, moved up to NYC, and they moved in together starting a life in the big apple.

Now, they finally can’t wait to celebrate a symbolic wedding with family and friends!
